Soon after graduating high school came time for my mandatory military service in the Cyprus army. A good one and a half years spent maturing and learning how to take care of myself and others in military situations in the Cyprus mountains. A time spent with multiple meaningful experiences, with sometimes rigorous drills and exercises, weaponry study sessions, and new friends made along the way.
